Tracked & Signed is a combination service offering full end-to-end tracking, signature on delivery and an online delivery confirmation.
Ideal for sending important or valuable goods, offering tracking at five points after despatch as well as an online confirmation of delivery.
Your item will be tracked until it leaves the UK and only handed over at its final destination once we have a signature from the recipient.
All our tracking and signature services aim to deliver to Europe within 3-5 working days and worldwide within 5-7 working days.
Tracking and Signature items are processed in a separate network while they’re in the UK. We provide proof of posting and compensation up to £100 as standard for Tracked and Tracked & Signed with extra compensation up to £300 to protect valuable items against loss or damage. International Signed offers £50 compensation as standard with extra compensation up to £250.
The availability of our Tracking and Signature services depends on where your item is going.
Where applicable, you’ll be able to track your item via our Track your item service.
Signature on delivery
A signature is taken on delivery for items sent using International Tracked & Signed and International Signed. However, we do not provide a copy of the signature to you as part of the service and it is not available to view online.

You can send items using our International Tracking and Signature services, as long as they fall within the length, width, height and weight sending criteria we’ve outlined below.
You can send anything bigger or heavier through Parcelforce Worldwide.
Letters not exceeding:
- Length: 245mm Width: 165mm
- Thickness up to and including: 5mm
- Weight up to 100g
Large Letters not exceeding:
- Length: 381mm Width: 305mm
- Thickness up to and including: 20mm
- Weight up to 500g
Parcels not exceeding:
- Height + Width + Depth no greater than 900mm and no single side longer than 600mm
- Weight up to 2kg*
Tube/rolls not exceeding:
- Length: 900mm
- Length + 2 x diameter should not be more than 1040mm
- Weight up to 2kg*
*Printed Papers allowable up to 5kg.

Do I qualify to use these services?
To access these services customers can either:
Achieve a consolidated entry level of a minimum of 1,000 items per annum to across our Royal Mail Inland Tracked Parcels and International Business Tracking and Signature Services. Customers currently sending 1,000 items per annum across the following UK parcel products: Royal Mail Tracked 24 and Royal Mail Tracked 48, International Business Tracked, International Business Tracked and Signed and International Business Signed Services will now qualify for all of these contract services
Spend a minimum of £5,000 per annum across our International Business Services.
